Last updated: {{INSERT_DATE_AT_LAUNCH}} Effective date: {{INSERT_DATE_AT_LAUNCH}}

This Privacy Policy describes how Home Aspire (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to homeaspire.uk (the “Site”).

Home Aspire is operated from the United Kingdom and is subject to the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What information we collect

We collect a limited amount of information about visitors to the Site. This is grouped into:

2.1 Information you provide directly

You may choose to provide us with information by:

  • Sending us an email or message via our Contact page
  • Subscribing to a newsletter or update list (where offered)

In each case, we only collect the information you choose to share — typically your name and email address, plus the content of your message.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, the following information is collected automatically through standard web technologies:

  • Server logs: Your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring website, pages visited, and timestamps. This is standard web-server logging.
  • Analytics data: We use Google Analytics (gtag.js, measurement ID G-8DVJSHBZR7) to understand how visitors use the Site — which pages are visited, how long visitors stay, and how they navigate between pages. Google Analytics uses cookies and may collect a hashed/anonymised version of your IP address. See our Cookie Policy for details.
  • Affiliate tracking: When you click an Amazon affiliate link on this Site, Amazon.co.uk may set cookies on your device to track the click and any subsequent purchase. We do not see your purchase details — only aggregated commission earnings reports. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
  • Advertising tracking: If you arrived at the Site via a Microsoft Advertising (Bing) search ad, the Microsoft UET tag may record the visit and any subsequent actions for advertising-effectiveness measurement. This is governed by Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.

4. Sharing your information with third parties

We do not sell your personal information.

We share limited information with the following third-party service providers, which act as separate data controllers (or in some cases data processors) for the purposes described:

  • Google LLC — for Google Analytics (analytics and audience-measurement). Governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

  • Microsoft Corporation — for Microsoft Advertising and the UET tag (ad-effectiveness measurement). Governed by Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.

We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or other legal process — or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Home Aspire or others.

5. International data transfers

Some of our service providers (notably Google, Microsoft, and Amazon) may transfer or store data outside the United Kingdom — typically in the United States or the European Economic Area. Each of these providers has put in place safeguards required under UK GDPR for such transfers, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent mechanisms.

6. How long we keep information

  • Server logs: typically retained for up to 90 days.
  • Google Analytics data: retention period configured at 14 months (the default for new properties).
